We hope you are enjoying a beautiful springtime as we are. To see the trees budding out and the fields coming to life and birds busy building new nests always brings a deep appreciation to me for the seasons and the variety of life in our part of the world. It also makes me wish I were a much faster painter. There is just so much beauty in every day and every sunrise and sunset where ever you are. I have to admit I live my life frustrated a bit that I can’t capture more. We do have some new things coming out that celebrate the joys of summer and a new cowgirl painting that I really enjoyed doing. Our 2007 catalog was released recently and is available on request. Please let us know if you didn’t get one and would like it. We are going to try to keep in touch on a more regular basis through email to let you know of upcoming releases and news. Our 2008 “Simple Things” calendar has been printed and will be available soon. I’m oft to Paris for a week soon to see two fantastic exhibitions of several of my favorite artists from the turn of the century, Bastien-Lepage, Sorolla and Sargent. I know I’ll come back fired up and inspired so I’m very excited. Also hope to do some painting of my favorite city. But I’ll probably come back a bit stressed that I haven’t got the garden tilled yet or the weeds sprayed. Thank you to those who are so kind to send your comments to me through our website. I don’t often have time to reply but your kind words inspire me and I’m grateful. Keep smiling and have a wonderful spring season.
